A note from Charlotte Public Schools
Business Leaders,
Over the past couple of years, many of you generously have made donations to our Oriole PRIDE initiative at Charlotte High School, which has helped to make our program a success. Each week, we recognize students who show PURPOSE, RESPECT, INTEGRITY, DEDICATION, and EXCELLENCE with a special drawing, and we award the prizes that you donate to the winners. We include articles in the County Journal about our winners and our donors, and donors also receive a framed Oriole PRIDE sign to hang in their businesses.
The program is very, very successful, as it sets a standard for behavioral expectations school wide while giving staff and students common language around our values. Therefore, we are continuing the program this year, and we would love to be able to award wonderful prizes once again. Last year, donations ranged from event tickets to cash donations for school wide celebrations, gift bags, and everything in between. Students were thrilled with all of the prizes, and any donation is welcomed and appreciated.
If you would like to donate a prize, please contact me at barnesw@charlottenet.org or by phone at 517-541-5601, or simply stop by the high school main office. We very much appreciate all of the support that you give us here at CHS, and we are proud to have the opportunity to serve our community and families. Thank you very, very much, and GO ORIOLES!
